Adventure Through Food!

Food adventure guide Chef Jessica Roy needed a fun, intimate teaching kitchen to conduct culinary adventure tourism. Chef JRoy and Nilsson Architects, worked together to program, design and permit, this boutique teaching and learning space, Shiso Kitchen in Union Square, Somerville.

Shiso Kitchen is the place for people to gather and experiment with their culinary curiosities.  Cooking lessons, tastings, excursions, private parties, events and team building are just a few of the adventures that await at Shiso Kitchen!
